To me a first date really should only include myself and the person who asked me out. Maybe later in the evening, if we feel right we could hang with friends. This past year has been a year of loss for me. I lost my late husband's son who I was very close to and my best friend to Alzheimer's. We use to watch baseball together because neither of us had anyone else. As you get older it is more difficult to cultivate new friendships and people give me their number but if they are still married, I'm not someone they really want to invite over. I need a man who is serious about a relationship and can understand my sensitivity. Eventually I will be the real me.

I have always wanted to see more of this country. I've traveled south and as far west as Duluth, Minnesota. I am a Messianic Jew, I was born of Jewish parents and was not raised Jewish. My first husband came from an Orthodox background and you can imagine how difficult that was for the two of us. Messianic Judaism started when Yeshua was in Jerusalem and teaching in the Synagogue to his followers. After his death, his followers who were considered Messianic Jews had to hide or be killed. There is a group in the US and Israel that can trace their lineage to the original people. If you get a chance to see the movie "Risen", it is gory but not nearly as bad as bad as Mel Gibson's movie.
