the perfect day in alaska
we wake up early to coffee and cigarettes, put on all of out winter gear and feed the sled dogs and the ravens. we smoke a bowl and watch the notherlights dance across the sky. We make any repairs needed on the igloo and then I head inside to paint a picture (for your b-day of course) and you go moose hunting with your favorite dog. I build a big fire and make your favorite soup for your return, and when you get back you tell me all about your day of hunting, and I show you the picture I painted you because I can never wait for birthdays. We have a nice tall glass of the blueberry brandy I made, go back to bed and tell eachother how happy we are, and fall asleep whispering dreams and secrets in eachothers ear...
