Greetings and Salutations one and all. Hmm..did that get yer attention? I hope so. And if NOT, oh well.LOL. Allow me to introduce myself: Former Long Islander, recently moved to Ft Myers to escape the cold/stress/insanity, and a chance to be close to family. I was, and still am, a peson who embraces the light and darkness of life. I am not all to complicated to understand. A direct question merits a direct answer..sounds easy enough, right? I love taking long walks in Nature preserves around here, love to read and write poetry/short stories. I am also a musician in my spare time..All ya gotta do is fidn me driving in my car, singing at the top of my lungs(in key, of course..lol) I love things that inspire or challenge me. I also tend to be drawn to those who are expressive openly, either with their words(written or otherwise), or through their artistic endeavours. I love to make people laugh and smile, and also have a very active imagination(heh..comes in handy for a myriad of things ::evil little grin::)

Good. :) Now..yer probably thinking, "Come on, this guy is TOO good to be true!"..well, I firmly believe that chivalry is NOT dead..it's just dormant..I am now, and always will be, a one-woman man. I never was one of these knuckle-draggers who viewed women as pieces of meat, or a notch on their bedpost, or a prize to claim. Hell, are ya kiddin? My mom would have KILLED me if I ever did such a thing. My mom and dad(rest their souls) taught me at a VERY young age: respect elders, women and yourself. I live by this mantra every day, and will NEVER alter this plan. Not for anything. Period.

So...this leads me to :what am I seeking? Well, loaded qustion. Basics though: Someone who shares a lot of similar interests with me, (music, movies, ..If you know who Vnv nation, Dead Can Dance and Bauhaus are, then you know where I am coming from)...someone who enjoys quietude as much as going out and having fun. Someone who knows how to take care of herself, is not materialistic, down to earth...someone like...YOU??

ANOTHER loaded question: I guess it would be "play it by ear"..but if the "connection" is there:First, we would go take a walk somewhere, talking and openign up some, to get to know each other more. Then, perhaps maybe grab some late lunch or dinner..then catch a movie(her choice), then maybe sit somewhere and chat till the we hours of the morning. And when I drop her off, walk her to the door, and if the situation permits, a kiss..not that I would EXPECT one. Just has to "feel" right. (why do I get stuck with this question?LOL!)
