I'm more than what I appear to be. Im a shy girl trying to break free of the mainstream shell I've been living in.

I am outwardly passive but know what I want from myself and somewhat what I want from life. I have a few goals, but mostly I have just been living for what happens right now. I think it's kind of fun to think about the fact that a decision you make right now, in this very second will effect the rest of your life.

At this moment, I am doing what I can to learn the most I can about myself and the environment that surrounds me. The more I learn the more I want to learn. It's becoming an addiction...and one I have no intentions of kicking.
I try my hardest to be optimistic about life, although it can get tough. But I fiugure at the end of the day, if I'm going home to my kitty and a warm bed to sleep in, the day couldn't have been that bad, right? ;)

In May I will be attending school to get my liscence to practice Massage Therapy. From there, who knows. I currently work at a grocery store as a Department Manager and as it's not my dream job, it gets me by and I get to talk to strangers all day. What could be more fun? I love people watching, so it makes my day.

I want to meet someone that has that same hunger to learn. The same desire to go out into the world and explore everything the world has to offer. Even if it's not pretty. There is beauty in everything I figure, even if it's painful. I want someone to see those things with me.

Going to a bar where there is a live band playing and just sitting there listening to the music pump through the room. Not even a bar I suppose, but I love being in a more intimate surroundings when I go to shows.

I'm looking for someone that can laugh at the world, including themselves.
I tend to take things very seriously, but at the same time I know when it is time to take a deep breath and smile.
To me there is beauty in everything this world has to offer, even if we may not see it right away.
I am looking for someone that can see those things with me.
I want someone that I can talk to for hours without the conversation ever getting boring.
Someone that is open to new adventures but is also okay with staying home and cuddling up next to the fire and drinking hot tea.
