Basic Information
I Would Describe Myself As
Is it possible to sum up 40 years in writing? Places and events - sure... but not the things that make me who I am. So, to figure out who I am, we need to talk!
Of course, I would be a bit remiss if I didn't provide you some of those places and events, so here goes. I was raised in a military family and have lived all over the country. I've lived in the KC area (including Lawrence) since 1988 and try to take a long trip once a year since different places help give people a different outlook on things and I want my kids to learn that. Right now, their favorite place is New York City - skyscrapers, subways, ferries and something always going on! I'm a bit more torn - I like the city, but I also like the country, the mountains and the beach :)
I've learned tolerance in my journey and that is important in the woman I meet. I'm not a believer in organized religion (some of humanity's worst atrocities can be attributed to it) - I believe God is the Creator and that Jesus was a man, nothing more.
What else am I looking for in a woman? That's a tough one - every woman has qualities to love and it's difficult to say what combination of personality and outlook would make me more attracted to one woman than another. In no particular order, the woman I'm looking for should be intelligent, fun, stable, physically active and self-sufficient.
