Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

As I thought about writing this profile I asked some friends how they would describe me. I heard things like “big heart”, “true friend”, “funny”, “upbeat”, “fun to be with”. They all said that they know that they can always count on me. I prize these things in myself and these are the things I look for in others. I love what life has in store for us, I look forward to what is around the next corner.

I love to laugh, I love to make others laugh. My outlook is this, we only get one ride so we might as well enjoy it. There is a quote I truly love. “Work like you don’t need the money, love like you have never been hurt, dance like no one is watching.”

I like to go camping and be outdoors. I take my sons camping 4 to 5 times each summer. We go swimming, hiking, boating, fishing and generally have a blast. While I enjoy roughing it I can also be right at home in a four star hotel. I enjoy Broadway Theater and Lincoln Center. For years I have had subscription tickets to both the American Ballet Theater and the New York Philharmonic. At one time I had begun taking ballroom dancing lessons that were a lot of fun. Take me out to the ball game, I’d rather play the game then watch it, but if I am going to watch it I’d rather be in the stadium.

I have committed myself to improve who I am everyday. I strive to understand my motivations and to grow. The only thing I bring to a relationship is who I am and I want to bring the best person I can be. I would like to get to know someone who shares this view.

I have a problem with smoking, and drinking if it is anything more then social. If you see a glass as half empty this could be a problem.

I read once that the future is an undiscovered country. If this is true I want to explore it with wonder not fear, excitement not trepidation, anticipation not apprehension.
