I Would Describe Myself As

Writing something about myself is a very difficult thing to do, as I would suppose it is for most people. You want to relay your personal image through words, and not sound egotistical at the same time. How do I perceive myself and how do other perceive me? That is a tough question!! Here goes something!!! I view myself to be a kind, warm person with a passion for life. I love my family, my children, grandchildren and most of the time I love me….(except for when I do really stupid things) Sometimes I tend to care to much about others, and that has related in some hurt, but I’m getting better at it, and have learned to say NO! on occasion! Actually I think I said NO twice last week…..(hahahaha) My children are all grown and live in different areas of Canada. My two sons and their families live in Alberta, while my daughter and her family live in Ontario. I figure I did something right in raising them, they all got married and have children… so for me that was a bonus. Some of my passions include (apart from people) cooking, travelling, fishing, camping and genealogy, (which I use as an excuse to travel) I am a real history buff, and love to explore and discover new people, places and things. You can find me sitting by the water, just taking in the serenity and beauty of nature, or mulling over reels of microfilm trying to find that missing link. Now don’t get the wrong idea! I don’t mind going to the local Pub for a beer either…
