Well how to describe myself... I was born in W.VA. raised in WY. I moved to beautiful Whidbey Island in 2000. I am a single mother of two great teens, who are the apple of my eye. I work full time and attend college pursuing a Registered Nurse degree. I am the type of person who likes to enjoy their free time. I really enjoy having friends over, BBQ, and/or watching a football game. (College or NFL) Yes, I like watching football. I also enjoy going on a picnic, camping, fishing, horseback riding, boating, riding motorcycles, and four-wheeling.

I have a softer side to me that loves to dress up and paint the town. I enjoy art museums, historical sites, symphonies, and would love to attend an Opera. I am not looking for someone to like everything I do. I merely want that person to be open in trying something new or give me the space to enjoy that part of my life. I go to church with my children weekly. I love to help people. I am involved in a few community activities.

There is nothing more romantic that receiving flowers unexpectedly or a simple note to brighten your day. Long walks on the beach and ferry rides are great, but I don’t mind staying home on the sofa sharing thoughts over a cup of coffee.
