55 y/o divorced woman, looking for the right man to share and celebrate life with. I have 4 grown sons and one new granddaughter, all of whom mean the world to me. I am a full-time legal assistant by day, and a church director of music (pianist/organist) by weekend. Was full-time wife and Scout-mom for 28 years and loved every minute of it (have 4 Eagle Scout sons who I'm just a little proud of). While I left my marriage because of an emotionally and verbally abusive situation, I have grown much since my divorce and am now ready to stop focussing on the past and get on with the future. I gain much fulfillment from making a house a home, preparing a great home-cooked meal, and enjoying the finer things in life (dinner at a nice restaurant, evening at theater, walk in the woods, cuddling with a special person and meaningful conversations). I love music--playing and listening--especially contemporary church music, easy-listening or classical. My faith is the center of my life, and I am very active in my church. I'm a cat lover and have 3 of my own. I have a great sense of humor and believe it's important to be able to laugh at oneself from time to time. I am a Dave Ramsey fan and, although I LOVE chocolate and everything that is unhealthy, I work hard at trying to eat healthy most of the time (trying to lose 15 pounds). To be honest, I hate to exercise, but do it anyway (by NO means a fanatic, though!) I'm told I have a great work ethic and am looking for someone who can appreciate the value of doing a job well and staying at it until it's complete. I do not smoke and will not date a smoker. I enjoy an occasional drink but over-users need not reply. Not interested in a one-sided, short-term, disposable relationship. I'm no beauty queen but take pride in my appearance and grooming and social graces and would love to meet someone who can do the same.
