I Would Describe Myself As

I am a Mechanical Designer for a Offshore company. I absolutely, positively love to laugh and have a great time. There are those very rare occasions where I am a little shy at first, but warm up pretty quickly. I love my family and friends with all my heart, and know that without them, their guidance and their morals since day one, I would not be the person I am. I am a great listener, but also love to talk. When someone is talking to me, I try to really listen to what you are saying and focus on the discussion we are having. If you have something interesting to tell me about, like a story, or even history, I am a sponge (I never paid attention in school, so I'm making up for it now). There is a spark of sarcasm to my personality, but other than that (as if that's a bad thing), I am outgoing, laid back (it takes a lot to get me mad), happy, confident, independent (not over the top, but I'm happy with "me" and don't have to be with you 24-7). The only baggage I have is that which accompanies me on a trip. The only addiction I have is shopping and playing pool... I do not consider my self high-maintenance, but it is important to me to look good and be proud of my appearance. I am somewhat adventurous and spontaneous... anything from spur of the moment casino trips (or any trip for that matter). I have done the "Urban Cowboy" mechanical bull riding - it was not a pretty sight, but it left a great story to tell. I will try anything once. I do not want to be that person that sits on the sidelines and watches life goes by. When I am old & gray, I want to be able to look back and my life and have no regrets and be able to say I did everything I wanted to do, what is next? I am a bit of an insomniac and have a high energy level. Life is a canvas waiting to be painted...

My ideal match is primarily someone who can laugh and have a great time. Talking and communicating is key to any relationship, whether it is just friends or more. I am not a drama king and am not looking for a drama queen (but if you have some good stories to tell, then we can negotiate!). You definitely have to like to laugh and find humor in yourself, be confident, independent, and honest and have good morals. In addition, you have to like to eat, because I love to cook! By the way, if you can dance that is a great thing. I cannot. God gave me the ability to play music, not dance to it... I can a little (we can talk about this later).
