Good question. I'll say this. While I am the kind of guy who likes to wine and dine those important to me, that first date shouldn't be as much about impressing someone as it should be about being in a comfortable surrounding and getting to know one another. A drink at a quiet bar, meeting up at a Starbucks, or just going for a walk in the city all are great ways to get to know someone without any pressure.

Originally from Los Angeles, looking to meet a great girl. Someone who is as driven and motivated with life as I am. I've done the bar scene and am done with it :). I love to travel and spontaneity is a plus with me. I believe variety is the spice of life and other than jumping out of a plane, I'm game for anything . I'm looking for a girl who likes sports, not just to watch but to play. I play flag football and competitive volleyball so someone to share some of my passions would be great.
I love honesty and bluntness in a girl...someone not afraid to speak her mind. I appreciate open-mindedness and girls with argumentative personalities...it shows you have a mind of your own :).
Finally, someone who is family oriented and would like to have a family someday. While I come from a small family, it is extremely important to me and having someone who understands that is a plus.
