As a successful writer, amongst other things, with quite the imagination and a keen knowledge of life in general, I am not often at a loss for words, however, as interesting as it may seem, I find it difficult to define myself in simple terms. Words cannot convey the richness, the aspects of my existence, nor exemplify the simple day to day things, I like to do, nor possibly distill the essence of that, to which I am. I am every breath, every experience, and every bit of knowledge I have ever tasted. If I were to choose one word to describe myself it would be passionate. I am very passionate about life, about my family and friends, about meeting new people, having fun, even about my work. I love writing; I find it enormously powerful. Writing gives me the freedom to take risks, to grapple with the big questions; it is the way I change and affect people. Unlike most writers, I never let my work consume me. Rabbi Elias Levi, my fathers brother, and our family help build the Sephardic Temple in Westwood, CA. to which we are very proud and honored to have been a part of so great a gift to the Jewish community. I volunteer Pet Rescue in BH Farmers Market. I look at a relationship as a partnership, ever in flux, but with a foundation made of mutual respect and honesty is paramount.
