I don't take myself too seriously, and I'm not one for the traditional path. I'm cheerful, open minded and optimistic. The etceteras in my life include a stint rehabilitating birds of prey and working as executive director of the Sundance film festival. I sit on volunteer boards. I own my own marketing/dvertising consulting business. I try to be rigorously honest. I love to travel, and I prefer to spend money on experiences not on material things. I have had "things" in my life and have learned they do not satisfy. I like a fine meal, a river trip through Provence on a barge, a trek to Mount Everest, a week in a house in the San Juan Islands. I savor fly fishing trips, visits to archeological sites, seeking a rare hummingbird in the Andes. I ski, walk, hike, birdwatch and commune with nature. Basically, I have the soul of a poet and artist, an unreconstructed romantic. I love museums and history and zoology and geology. I love to see new places. Debussy knocks me out, and so does Prokofiev and I am currently crazy about Brazilian pop. My first view of an original Rembrandt brought tears to my eyes. My friends are artists and business people and I am very loyal to them. Some of those friendships go back more than 50 years. Oh yes, I've recently taken up golf. I'm terrible but golf courses are lovely. You: beautiful and exciting and smart and full of laughter, someone creative and unafraid of life, a woman who likes who she is. If you have a few dents and scratches from an exciting past it just adds to the interest. Life experience makes for good books and movies, and I have written and sold both.
