Hi folks. I haven't been on this site for a long, long time; I'd forgotten about it until I got an email saying that there was a message here for me. I'm heavily attached now. Note to Sharon: I thank you for that very appealing invite but I'm happily involved. :(

I'm forever looking for someone with whom I can hold an informed conversation. Does anyone read any more? I'm 6', 200 lbs, with br hair and eyes and am a guy with a conscience. I love books, books and more books. I'm 9 months away from being in front of the class rather than attending. How'm I doing so far? I'm looking for someone stimulating, mentally and physically. I consider myself a gentleman in that I like to open doors or hold the chair out for the woman I’m with. I’m not old fashioned, it’s just that women have a harder time of it than men (I think) and a little extra consideration is nice, right? I like old cars; I have a '62 Plymouth. I also have all my hair and all my teeth! I really like a good pair of legs, btw; someone who isn't afraid to show off a bit. Thrill me! I write prose, poetry and compose/play music. I have two 15 year old cats. At first they were my little kids. Now, it's like having a sweet, old aunt and a grumpy, old uncle in the house. I'm not on a determined spouse hunt right now but I'd like to mingle and just see what happens. I've never cheated on anyone and I won't lie. Lots of people say they want honesty but you wouldn't believe how upset some get when they ask for your opinion and you give them your real opinion. I love to cook, mostly Chinese and Italian (my mother's name was Gallo so I know what it should taste like.) Please, no drug addicts, drunks or obese folks. Just not attracted, you know? If you want to hear more, ask me. I have pictures to send if you’d like. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, no preachy Bible thumpers either. That, I can't deal with at all. If you're going to try and save me and I know some of you will no matter what I say here, remember what it says in your book of Exodus: “Thou shalt not vex a stranger….”

Een perfecte eerste date is

Sitting somewhere and having some sort of meaningful conversation. The first thing I want to know about someone is if we have anything to talk about. Later, if all goes well, we can do the activity things that preclude conversation. I've never understood why folks go to a movie on a first date. You have to sit there quietly. I'd like to know with whom I'm sitting and that takes some conversation. Dinner in a nice restaurant is perfect.
